Since he allowed her to, she took the offer and got up to make her something to eat. When he returned, she was sitting on his couch, eating a sandwich. She had also turned the channel to a movie. One that she loved. Alien vs Predator. She loved sci fi movies. "Huh? oh hi. Heh, batman." She tilted her head and smiled at him teassingly. "Where's Robin?"

[Doxx and Slim]

He rolled his pale colored eyes, "Sitting on my couch watching... Is that AVP?" He smirked, "Never took you for a sci fi nerd. Cute." He smiled, pulling his legs up and crossing them Indian style, but because he was such a big kid, it was still 'criss-cross applesauce'. He settled in, leaning over to pick up his energy drink and sipping at it. He looked so comfortable in his natural state. He smiled, barely paying attention to the movie and instead thinking.

[A-chan-Medium]

A-chan relaxed quickly in his home. The movie, the comfortable air. Him. She had moved up there in only two weeks. She hadn't made any friends and barely any money. But now things are looking up. Hopefully it'll stay like that. Glancing over, she noticed a distant look in his eyes. Was he even paying attention to the movie anymore? "You okay?"

[Doxx and Slim]

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Why?" He smiled, getting closer to her, "Concerned for me? How sweet." His role model was obviously Loki from the Marvel Movieverse. His smile turned into a smirk as he relaxed back into his spot on the arm of the couch. "Just thinking, actually." He giggled, which was a kind of girly sound and he quickly covered his mouth, his eyes going wide. "You weren't supposed to hear that."

[A-chan-Medium]

Her grin grew into a soft laugh. "Okay, sly devil. You have your cute moments too. We're even now." She winked playfully. She glanced back to the movie, watching as one Alien gets slashed by a predator. "What's on your mind, stud?"

[Doxx and Slim]

"S-Stud?" He laughed, "Nothing. Watch your movie, sci fi nerd." A few moments passed before he spoke up again, "You really think I'm cute?" Doxx looked over at her, a grin plastering on his face, which was dusted pink with red creeping down his neck again. He flipped his hair out of his eyes as he took a sip of his energy drink, watching her and waiting for her answer.

[A-chan-Medium]

She nodded, blushing lightly. 'Hot, actually. Heck, with that smirk of his, he jumps straight to sexy! But I won't tell him that.' She kept her eyes on the tv, trying to avoid his stare. "W-why do you ask? I-it's just a compliment."

[Doxx and Slim]

"Compliments don't including blushing and stuttering. Trying to avoid my stare?" He chuckled to himself. He stood again and walked to the kitchen, his teenage boy appetite rearing its ugly head. 'Hm, what to eat? Oh! I know!' He made himself a sandwich and brought a bag of chips, just in case she wanted some too. He plopped down and opened the bag, taking a bite out of his sandwich. He swallowed, nudging her arm with his elbow to get her attention. "Want some?" 'God, that sounded weirder than I had hoped.'

[A-chan-Medium]

Unfortunately, her blush stayed. Goodness. Come morning, she'll have a headache with all of this blood rush to her head. She nodded and took a few chips, eating them slowly, still avoiding his gaze. "...Do you always flirt with new employees?"

[Doxx and Slim]

"I thought you said you weren't going to work with me. But, no, only the ones I like." His smirk was potent as his eyes scanned her. He took a few chips, chewing thoughtfully as he watched her cheeks flare darker. 'I justify myself by saying she was asking for it!' He laughed lowly, his attention draw back to the movie as Predator made it on screen. "Y'know, I personally like Predator better," he thought aloud, trying to break the silence that had settled between them.

[A-chan-Medium]

She grinned. "Me too!" She giggled and slid a bit closer to him. "I don't know why. Maybe for how mysterious and wicked cool they are, hehe." She glanced over to him. "Sorry for leaving the job. I just don't have a good history with...s-sexual things." She shrugged, looking back to the movie.

[Doxx and Slim]

He shrugged in return, "It's cool, it's cool. I don't mind and I completely understand why you wouldn't want to work there. Your boss would be too hot for you to handle." He said jokingly, his arm sneaking its way around her and settling there. He pulled her closer, his hand resting on her side, fingers unconsciously drawing random circles. His head rested in his other hand as he truly paid attention to the screen. He had to admit that this just felt... right.

That blush of hers must truly enjoy dancing on her cheeks, because by now she must look like a tomato. But actually, now she didn't mind. She felt comfortable. Sitting here in his arms. 'W-what am I thinking? I-it's not like we're...l-lovers or anything.' Looking over at him, studying him, A-chan realized that maybe she did have a small crush on him. Did he feel the same way? Was it really a good idea to come over here?

[Doxx and Slim]

His eyes flitted over to her, noticing her blushing face. "Hey, A-chan, are you okay?" He asked, half-smile half-smirk on his pale lips. His eyebrows were raised in a laughing manner, but his eyes were serious. He shifted his arm to were it was under his jacket with her own, pulling her ever closer to his warm, inviting side.

[A-chan-Medium]

There goes her heart again. "D...Doxx." She spoke in a nervous whisper before bolting up from the couch, face flushed in red. "I-I should go. It's um late and I-I...I-I mean we, have a big day tomorrow s-so I should go now." She laughed nervously. In all honesty, she didn't really want to leave. She actually wanted to fall asleep in his arms. Listen to his heart. But if she did that, then she might be doing something wrong and she shouldn't do that. Right?

[Doxx and Slim]

"Do you even have a proper place to stay? You can stay here, if you want. I mean, I can sleep on the couch and you can have my bed. Sorry if I... Got too personal. I know, we just met but... I really," his face flushed as he paused. "I really... like... you." He looked to the floor, his face a bright red. "I know, I know, I sound like a weirdo. Sorry. You can go if you like." He looked up at her then looked back down. 'Why are you being so shy?!'

[A-chan-Medium]

She gulped and looked away. "Ah I...er....w-well....I-I'm staying...a-at the park." She gulped once more, feeling completely embarrassed. He must think she was a poor slob! Some bimbo or tramp who can't even take care of herself! 'H-How could he even be attracted to me if I'm like this?'

[Doxx and Slim]

He smiled warmly, "See? You can stay here. I'll camp out in the living room and you can have my bedroom. Tomorrow's my day off, so... Yeah." He coughed into his hand, bringing the other up to scratch at the back of his neck. "He-Here, I'll show you to my room..." 'THAT SOUNDS SO PERVY, WEIRDO!' He cast his eyes downcast, looking at anything but her. 'Hey, I never noticed how nice my carpet looks.'

[A-chan-Medium]

A-chan shook her head. "N-No that's okay. I don't want to be a burden." Besides, if she sleeps in his bed, she'll think of nothing but his smell and that was just wrong by itself. Right? No? Who knows anymore. Her mind and heart have been betraying her ever since she met this guy. Although, it's really cute that he's trying so hard. "T-Thank you, Mr.Doxx. I-I'd love to stay here but I-I'll just be in your way."

[Doxx and Slim]

"If I'm inviting you to stay, how would you be in my way? I'm saying it's okay and hey, you'll be warm at least...?" Right? Yeah, duh, of course he had a point. His eyes stared into her own. She could read exactly what he was saying in his look; I don't want you to leave. This is right. Please don't go. I'm lonely. And in that moment he was completely and utterly vulnerable.

[A-chan-Medium]

She watched him silently. Reading his heart through his eyes. It was like looking in a mirror. And the surprising part was that it made her cry. Little droplets of tears dripped down her cheek and fell from her chin. She didn't like being alone either. Staying in the crummy little shack at the park wasn't great and it actually scared her to be alone. "Y-You mean it?"

[Doxx and Slim]

He looked terrified to see her cry, though he stepped to her and wiped her tears away. "I mean it," was his gentle reply. His hand cupped her cheek before he pulled her into a hug. "Sh, sh, it's okay. We've got each other. Please don't cry." He held her close, 'I don't want to see you cry or frown. Ever.' He pulled away and gently kissed her forehead.

She hiccupped silently as a few more tears poured out. Why was she doing this? She just met him and yet she's opening her heart out. Didn't she promise herself that she wouldn't do this? That she'd become stronger? This isn't strength. This is her weakness. But still... All of the pain and loneliness just rushed to her. It reminded her.

"I-I can't go back. Not to him. I-I ran away to start a new life. I-I wanna be strong."

[Doxx and Slim]

His large hands were on her shoulders, forcing her to look up at him. "Hey, you are strong. Keeping such pain locked away and not showing any. You. Are. Strong." He made sure she understood. She shouldn't down herself. His lips cracked into a small, meek smile. His eyes were clear, his face shown with a childish pride.

[A-chan-Medium]

"D-Doxx..." She buried her face into his chest, taking in the scent of his clothes. Strange how soothing a man's scent can be on her. "O-okay. I'll stay. B-but I don't want to steal your room from you. I don't mind sleeping on the couch."
