The Slaves of Angelics

This is an RP in the making that Blu and I will be working on. I told her I really wanted us to do another Angelics and it's been YEARS since we held our usual spin-off. So I'm going to run this one with her and hope all goes well.

This is going to be in the Group RP section OR the Story Writing Section.

The Plot:

"The Slaves of Angelics" refers to the many 'victims' and captives living alone on a private island which is much like the Bermuda Triangle. Meaning it's surrounded by water, with no escape but by plane or submarine (which are conveniently occupied by the Government/Military). The 'Leaders' of the islands are enlisted Militia and many Laboratory Scientists that have based all of their research, control, and experimentalism off of the long lost Angelics Book Series (Which was written many years ago by one of the main character's long-dead ancestor). The Book Series is basically fabled fairy tales of humanoid beings with strange magical powers, abilities, or animal-like appearances and habits. It tells of Angels who warred with Demons, and Kings who fought long and hard over various territories all throughout time, keeping with the same characters no matter which dimension and time-frame the story took place in. Many Religious fanatics lost their nerve reading the Angelics Book Series, and so the books were burned or banned throughout several nations all across the globe. It was believed to be Anti-Religious, obscene in nature, and promoted the former thoughts of multiple Gods, or Godz that weren't all powerful or "good" at heart. But, of course, the United States in all it's glory, kept the last few copies, and even sold some of them to pay off hefty debts.

Eventually, getting into the hands of the Wrong People, these books fell into, thanks to their grand payments and slave-trade offerings many hundreds of years after the huge Religious crazy-freak-out. These 'Scientists' hired part of the military and paid them well to stay silent and only report on the "as-needed basis" of course, back to the States. They were all labeled 'Leaders' and ran the island like a well-maintained (or completely controlled) society, or like a small country under a team of dictators. Right, right, democracy... any who. So the Leaders, basically free to run all their scientific experiments, decided to put the infamous books to the test, hoping to come up with some results. The books took place throughout the Ancient Past, the Present, and even the Future, so with modern tech at their fingertips, one was able to recreate some of it.

The Characters:

Kids (Often labeled "Brats" by the other teams): No one knows what exists beyond the great dome shield that stretches for miles and miles, over the island. Though having wings for flight might be something possible, the wings are often torn off if one is actually caught flying high with them. To get close to the shields is to be shot down by the ever-standing-guard Militia. Sometimes they will use "tranqs", but death is almost always threatened or even demonstrated upon the weaker. Most of the characters are between the ages of 10 and 19 and may or may not have siblings they're trying to protect in the process. Students will attend school by force, and will be punished immensely if "Order" is not had. Their schooling is only a few hours long, and most of their studies consists of bland things so that no one gets "too smart" (though there's surely exceptions to every rule).

When each child returns home, they are generally expected to behave in a very specific manner. Most of them live with other kids, all of them orphaned (taken from their true parents at birth, and placed here in exchange for mass amounts of cash). They live in groups and respond to a 'Mothering Figure' as well as the Militia that delivers their food and water.

If they DO NOT live with the Mothering Parent, is it because they were SOLD to someone else. This is called their 'Master' or 'Keeper'.

Keepers: Keepers are kind of a wide range of crazy, but not all of them are bad. Ages 20 - 45 they are people who buy children from the Slave Traders, for numerous reasons. Be it sexual desire, a maid for the house, or just an ordinary companion, these well-off men and women, buy these half-animal kin, for a pretty penny. They often serve the Leaders directly and are normally business people who work from home and report everything their "child" does for data and research. As long as the Leaders receive their E-mails, and are free to snatch them for random tests, what the Keepers do with their kin behind closed doors, matters not. Keepers have usually worked their way up the food chain and were possibly orphaned children at one point. Most of them refuse to keep their animal parts, and have them surgically removed after their "use" to the Leaders is completed. It can be years before a Keeper is "good enough" or "deserving enough" to have their add-ons removed. Others keep their parts and use them for other means.

The Guardians (Parental Figures): Usually female, they are in charge of the Orphan children. Most of them are kind and loving, and just want the Leaders to go easy on the children they've adopted. Parental Figures who get in the way to protect their children from the Militia or Leaders, are often beaten, whipped in public, or forced into traumatic situations in front of the children or not. Many of them have lived on the island all their life, and were "in-compatible" with receiving the add-ons. Or their tests were so inclusive, their add-ons were disposed of completely. They try their best to live somewhat normally, and are usually of the Poor Class, and don't have as much money as they should. Again however, some do come from rich families, and do have wealth and means to raise tons of children. If so they're normally more focus on greed, less upon their adopted kin.

Leaders: Leaders are just as psychotic, obsessive or controlling as any other known dictator on the planet. They show no remorse to anyone and focus strictly on results. All of them live in lavish houses, with tons of Slaves and Slave Traders at their service. To be one of the Leaders' Slaves is said to be an honor, though absolutely no child would think so. They're manipulative, conniving asshats with no respect for anyone or thing, but their money. To owe a Leader a debt, is a life of enslavement or torment. Several of them are still fully human looking, as when they came to the island their focus was adding-on to other beings not themselves. The Militia is very submissive, due to the thick briefcases of money they get each day they participate in whatever is demanded of them. The Leaders have extensive knowledge on all nations and will kidnap or confiscate those who are threats. They have been known to sell organs on the black markets, kill off people of suspected treason, and infiltrate other nations without warning or capture. They control 50% of the world without anyone even knowing where their loyalty truly lies.

The Militia: The military force responsible for keeping everyone in line. They serve the leaders and work in shifts. If you're smart, you might be able to pick up when they change shift teams. They travel in all-black SUV's, and carry firearms such as rifles, snipers and pistols. Nukes and heavily artillery are forbidden due to the island shields. However, outside the island, they have everything the States have "just in case". Some of them work for the US as reporters, or Intel Senders, so that the States remain careless of the island supposedly being used to help refugees and such. They wear all green suits and caps, and have black boots, whips, chains and other items for taming those out of line. They tend to despise working with the Keepers - often out of jealousy of those living their lives, whilst they do nothing but serve as guards. Spats are small but frequent between the two.

Additional Intel:

You will be each given add-ons. What you select for add-ons can greatly increase the desire to collect or harm you. Kids are usually half-human half-animal (such as Nekos, 'angelic-like' creatures, 'demonic-looking' fiends, or dog people. Strange mutations or abilities (such as having gills to breathe under water) are also completely legal. NO full-blown transformations. With each ability or add-on you have, you will be weaker. The body will degrade faster, and you will become sicker. If you say, just have wings - you'd be fine. But if you had wings, a tail, and long ears - you're probably constantly ill or weak and unable to defend yourself. Remember. You do not know life without these parts, and you are constantly going in for "repairs" to prevent complete degradation. Failure to be "fixed up" will result in death. Each person with add-ons will be given 1 adrenaline shot per day, so that blood flow continues and you stay alive. Failure to receive this from your 'parental figure' or 'Keeper' = death.

Name of Character: Raphiella Blu Azure

Add-on(s): Ears, bushy tail, strangely altered red eyes

Lineage/History: Not much is known about Blu, though she does come from a middle-class family back in the States. She was adopted out after her family learned of the paycheck they'd receive, and took money over raising a child. The girl is one of blue hair, and brown eyes - though such eyes were turned read through plenty of experimental orientation. She's quite fond of the way she looks, and even after discovering she was born human than altered, she has no complaints. Though wings were in her future, degradation has kept her on the ground below. However, a decent escape artist, and crafty Wolf-girl, wings surely weren't needed anyhow. The girl does nothing but help her older friend, who is on his way to becoming a Keeper. She loves him, but fears his temper, or for those around when he reacts to things. Blu is a very free-spirited type of female, who has surely seen the dark side of the island one too many times.

Current Living Situation: Orphan on the streets, with a Guardian some of the time

Extra Intel: Personality - out-going, stupidly brave, leader-like behavior. She longs for a big happy family and only wants to feel loved and appreciated. She also wants off the island.

Name of Character: Melvin Louie-Leon Wolf

Label: Brat, Keeper-in-Training

Add-on(s): Black horns, a tail with a fin on it.

Lineage/History: Melvin is a rather interesting case. He partially deaf in his right ear, and is almost completely blind. His vision comes and goes, so he's generally always under some kind of treatment. Normally when his eyes are completely white he is blind-folded, and will rely on Blu completely, to get him around. His trust in her is immeasurable to anyone else's - so therefore he is unconcerned of his lack of sight when he does loose it. When his eyes retain his normal blue coloring, he's able to see in black and white, with occasional flashes of coloring. The two colors that stand out to him are blue (because his girl's hair is blue) and green (his favorite color all his life).

Melvin has gone through retarded amounts of abuse, and he's become abusive to his caretaker and any kids who get too close to the girl he follows around. He's hit other kids plenty of times and cares not for their gender. However, he doesn't pick on small kin, as it's unsporting to him. Due to the add-ons in which he has, his body degrades rather quickly. His blindness and slowly deaf-going ears, are in result to this, and to adrenaline overdoses, which he's become rather addicted to. He often steals it from other kin, mainly 'enemies' - in order to see them die off. He's been caught for this a total of 3 times.

Melvin does not understand remorse, and is emotionally challenged to an extent. He's rarely seen without a guard nearby due to his inability to listen to directions. He is training to become Blu's Keeper, which he thinks will bode better for them both. He's been used by other teams for years, and experimented on so much, that it's steadily starting to pay off. However, his body almost can't keep up with his hard-working habits.

Current Living Situation: Lives wherever Blu does.

Name of Character: Christopher Rupel Arclight

Add-on(s): Massive angelic wings

Lineage/History: Christopher comes from a rather well-off family. All of which were high-strung Leaders. Unfortunately, most of their family is elsewhere leaving the boy with his twin brother. Chris has no spine and doesn't act like a Leader. It is because of this that he attempts to be a Guardian, though his brother uses him for other purposes. Like many other Guardians and kin, Chris is enslaved - but to his brother. However, due to his brother's wicked desires, he breeds Chris out to other men, specifically because Chris, is male and female. He appears mostly male, but surely, he's given birth since age 12. He tends to have twins. His brother forces him into such things, hoping that Chris will produce a child with add-ons already. Salvation has no idea, that Chris wasn't born with said add-ons, and neither was he. They were falsely led to think such, however. Chris suffers greatly, and goes through tons of things, all for his brother's sake. He feels hopeless, yet somehow, he never gives up.

Current Living Situation: He lives with his twin brother Salvation, who is a known Leader.

Extra Intel: Chris is very timid, very passive, and easy to love on or take advantage of. He tends to see the good in people, and completely forgets about just how bad they are, which is never good for him. His hopes and dreams consist of a free world, where wings are for freedom and not for show. He desires a family, and a world free of enslavement and abuse.

Name of Character: Salvation Rupel Arclight

Age: 21 (Born 5 mins before his brother)

Add-on(s): Wings, and a pale-blue tail (reptilian like Melvin's)

Lineage/History: Salvation is completely insane in more than one way. He doesn't give a damn about anyone, and though he loves his twin brother, many just think he's saying that so his brother spreads his legs to be used. Salvation grew up wealthy, his parents having left them enough money and information to continue their task. They eventually die of old age, but that wasn't something he was going to tell Chris. Unlike his brother, Salvation is unkind, and devoted to his Leader stature. He runs his section fiercely, and is very controlling like the rest - just somehow, seemingly worse. He is never seen without his sniper rifle, and is extremely dangerous. He is also convinced (due to his parents' saying so, and the intel provided) that they were born with their genetic mutations. He doesn't know they are not, and no one has the balls to tell him he's wrong about Chris being able to breed him a mutated child. They do have one child together, who was sentenced to a life of experiments. Salvation tries to ignore the child, and leaves him for Chris to watch until he's old enough. He hasn't bred with Chris since, because the twin child to their boy Aya, died at birth. It would appear incest, claimed that one a stillborn.

Current Living Situation: His Estate on Leader Territory

Extra Intel: Persona is domineering and downright evil. Shows no affection unless it's pure lust. He is often seen violating his brother in public, before the guard, ect. Has no respect for others. He is passionate about his goals, which remain unseen aside from getting his brother to produce a mutant. Salvation is disrespectful to other Leaders, challenging any and all authority. He is often seen out and about in a carriage, with many horses. He loves to be seen, and to see the fear in the people's eyes as he passes by with his navy blue hair and deep blood-red eyes.

Name of Character: Aya Rupel Arclight

Add-on(s): Small white wings often hidden beneath his shirt

Lineage/History: Aya is a brave and curious little boy. He's very comfortable around his parents, though he feels threatened by his true father. He is aware his mother is also partially male, and refrains from referring to Chris as anything other than 'mum' or 'Angel'. Sometimes he will come up with curious other names, though he tends to just tug on his angelic mother figure, since like Chris - he doesn't talk much at all. Aya is one of fearful big blue eyes, and light blond hair. He's got a small frame and is very pale. He isn't fully aware that he's a child of incest, but he knows he had a twin brother who died during the birth. Aya, would have been the younger brother. But now, he's an only child, aside from the many half-siblings that Chris has had over the years. He was the first one born, however, from them all. Aya doesn't understand much about being a 'Leader', as his mothering figure hasn't taught much to him. Though, he does look over his father's shoulder when possible. Aya is taken care of highly, as he is Salvation's only heir, and only child.

Name: Yami BloodSucking Marik

Lineage/History: There was a rough patch in YM's life. He never lived alone but wondered off many times. His Keeper Cyrus was vicious, abusive as fuck, whips his sorry ass until he almost died of blood loss and rapes YM. Cyrus had solid black hair with purple eyes and a male of course. He was strict, if he made even the littlest of a mistakes, you would get punished. His keeper was not very friendly towards anyone. YM had no friends or anyone else in his life. He has blood red hair. his hair use to be a different color but never got a chance to see it because of all the blood his keeper poured all over his body. He use to have black wings until they were cut off his back. His life was never the same. YM's body was covered in bruises and cuts from his Keepers doing.

[Kouvelesence Sanguine]

Name of Character: Kouvelesence "Kouu" Sanguine

Age: Approx. nineteen

Label: Leader

Add-on(s): Genetically modified DNA: Results in pink hair and eyes, as well as the inability to progress further in the aging process. [Currently stuck in early teens]. However, that does not mean that he doesn't age mentally, or that his body doesn't degrade. Both happen. Ears are also end in points.

Lineage/History: Kouvelesence doesn't know what sort of family he came from, nor does he care. He became a Leader after showing promise when dealing with 'certain' situations, though it could be said that it is on probationary terms only - he is, obviously, on the young side (though, he is older than he looks). 

He grew up on the island, and thusly is familiar with it, but was never very interested on what laid just beyond the reach of his eyes on the blue horizon of water - that isn't to say that he wasn't curious, or that he didn't think that maybe it was better than his life there. He simply grew bored of the idea of something else out there, and found new entertainment in controlling those weaker than him through series of 'punishment games'. He simply found nothing more delightful than the 'deserved' (in his justification) suffering of others, so much so that he would simply beam with childish glee. Of course, his actions piqued the interests of the higher-ups, and was soon inducted as a probationary Leader. 

Current Living Situation: As with all Leaders, Kouvelesence lives in a rather luxurious house - though, it is, of course, not the best one, that would simply be preposterous. Only the highest ranked Leaders receive the highest of things - no? He has a number of slaves that he 'collects' - the lowest of the low, the misfits or the misfist, all the ingrates that no one else wanted to even bat an eye at. Of course, that doesn't mean that he's the generous or kind type of person - more often than not, the 'poor things' become his target practice. A missing eye here, a missing digit there, who cares? 

Extra Intel: 

• Due to his genetic alterations, Kouu's speech doesn't necessarily match his thoughts or intent. At times, it comes out awkwardly and does  bear resemblance to stereotypical 'baby-talk'. That, however, does not mean that he does not take his job seriously - he's supposed to play punishment with the inhabitants, right? Keep them in line with a sharp lashing the palms or wrist? The behind even? 
  
• It is speculated that the modification of his genes also led him to be the cheerfully sadistic person that he is.
  
• His voice is stupidly high-pitched due to the forced repression of aging. 
  
• As with anyone with add-ons, his body degrades - this is kept in check with shots of adrenaline. 
  
• Kouvelesence has a fascination with anything sharp, particularly small blades or surgical equipment.
  
• He likes cats. 
  
• Despite his small physique, Kouvelesence is quite capable of holding his own in a fight.

Name: Isis WhiteAngel Ishtar

Lineage/History: Isis shared the same Keeper as her brother YM. She was always the good brat and barely got in trouble or faced Cyrus. She usually got what she always wanted and was a spoiled brat. Isis had long white wings with silky long white hair and seemed perfect towards Cyrus. YM didnt enjoy his sister and her 'perfectness'. She was always happy and does what she was told. Cyrus had sexual desires for Isis but mostly at night and made YM watch. Life used to be perfect unless a mistake is made.

Name of Character: RA

Appearance:

Add-on(s): Fire-like (in color) wings, golden gauntlets like bird talons, infused to her arm.

Lineage/History: Having no keeper or real family, she lives on the streets wandering around and normally stays in hiding. Easily standing out in the crowd, she has flaming red hair that was due to the pigment used to color her wings which are the same coloring. She rarely is ever seen without something red on and is usually color-obsessed over it. She discovered a small baby bird when she was younger and took care of it, curing its sickness and since then, the bird has stuck with her, normally flying above her or perched on her shoulder. Abnormally over-caring, she will take whatever beating and whatever harassment she is given and no matter how she feels, inwardly, about a person she would still do whatever she could to help them; even giving them whatever food (even little she dd\id get) to someone who would need it as well.

Current Living Situation: On the streets.

Extra Intel:
Habits: Always wears red, always collects feathers, normally will wear them in her hair or on a long chain wrapped around her waist and used as decoration on her wings.

Name of Character: Damien Knox 

Appearance: 

Age: Late teens / early twenties

Label: Keeper

Lineage/History: Damien doesn't remember much of his 'past', but he doesn't let that get to him. He has no recollection of ever having a family, or anything else along those lines. He wasn't shown kindness or affection, and therefore doesn't show such things to others. He lives solely for himself. And, even if he had some idea of his history, he certainly wouldn't share it.

Current Living Situation: Within his home with those whom he keeps

Age: Around the same age as Damien

Label: ??? Was a brat, not particularly trained to be any different (is, in other words, a pet)

Lineage/History: Morphine was born and raised on the island, but soon found himself in the 'slave-trade' so to speak. He went from Keeper to Keeper, constantly being bought and sold until, eventually, he was bought by Damien, and has been living with the man ever since. He barely remembers any sort of family he might've had, not that he particularly cares, anyways. He seems to be quite fond of Damien, and is content simply living his life at the man's beck and call.

Appearance:

Label: Brat

Add-on(s): six wings, put on incorrectly, the largest pair set in the middle, the smallest on the bottom, the middle atop.

Lineage/History: Cain was born on the island, he was experimented on as a child and simply just took it as he saw fit, it was expected of him. He is a boy that simply does as he is told and speaks only when necessary. Taking care of smaller kids, whispers tell he would be a keeper-in-training, though it is unknown if he would do such a thing.

Add-on(s): Two large dragon wings, sharpened canines.

Lineage/History: Rhea was drafted onto the island and groomed to be a Keeper. He normally takes in strays or the "troubled-ones" the hellions, then with whatever he does, makes them obey. He is a nasty and cruel man that doesn't care about anyone or anything around him, he obeys the laws given to him and punishes those who disobey.

Name of Character: Ascelin Asphodel

Add-on(s): large white wings, purple eyes

Lineage/History: Not much is known about Ascelin as she is a shy quiet woman who doesn't like to speak much. Ascelin used to live with a keeper who abused her a lot as he thought it was fun and any small wrong doing deserved punishment. Naturally being rather clumsy during her youth she made quite a few mistakes which got her punished a lot. He once almost beat her to death but spared her so he could have someone to beat again later on. She eventually ran away and started living on the streets. Once she started living on the streets she was subjected to a lot of experiments which is how she got her wings and purple eyes.

Ascelin having recently turned 20 is now living in a middle class home and has become a guardian. She isn't looking after any kids yet but hopes to soon.

Lineage/History: Bast was brought onto the island around the age of 13 where she was given add ons. She was raised to be a guardian and accepts children off of the streets. She is loving, loyal and caring and just wants to protect and help the children. She is rarely seen without a black cat following her around.

Lineage/History:
'Bastian originally was passed between Keepers during his childhood, staying with Matthew and his mother between this times until she died. He does not recall his actually family and wishes for it to remain that way.

He is owned by Florance, in such, pretty fucking shit.
